Come join us to discovermore about our “one step building process”. Topics of discussion will include: • Benefits of using ACE/ RS/ MGS systems together • Engineering/Architectural/Construction Design details. • Experience a hands-on demonstration. • Learn and practice masonry skills with MGS products In the past decade many builders have taken another look at lime as a building material. Limehas been used for millennia, but in the 1800’s it was replaced by portland cement as the main binding materials in construction. When installed properly, lime stuccos can last forhundreds of years and require little or no maintenance. To ensure proper placement and protection of lime stuccos, applicators should have training to understand the material and how it works. The lime section of this training seminar is designedto expand your knowledge of what it takes to successfully install lime stucco. Topics include: Sand gradation and particle size and how they caneffect stucco strength; what a Balance Mix is; mixing, applying and compressing finish coat limeplasters and applying colored limewash.
This is ahands-on workshop, and participants must bringprotective equipment for eyes, hands, and body, a hawk and trowel; and a desire to learn.
