AMD, the Austin Chamber of Commerce, and the U.S. Green Building Council Central Texas – Balcones Chapter, invite you to attend a half-day symposium to learn about the latest green-building trends and explore how green building is becoming a more feasible and attractive option for new construction.For more complete information including a list of nineteen speakers go to the Cevent.com site.
During the symposium, attendees will learn from the first-hand experiences of project teams that have successfully implemented green building methods and materials into their own building designs, including challenges and opportunities.
Green building experts will present three in-depth case studies of award-winning, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects: AMD Lone Star Campus, Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, and LCRA Redbud Center.
Certificates will be available to attending architects and engineers who would like to self-report continuing education credits to AIA and the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners or the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
